Bus Schedule & Teacher Assignments
On Monday, August 15, bus, teacher, class, and schedule information for all students will be available on the PowerSchool website. Please note, bus pick up and drop off times are not available in the PowerSchool app. If you do not have a parent PowerSchool account, please contact your child’s school to obtain the access codes needed. Please note, you will not be able to create a new parent account until PowerSchool reopens.

PowerSchool will open on Monday, August 15, following a staggered schedule.
  • High School – 9 a.m.
  • Middle School – noon
  • Elementary School – 2 p.m.
Helpful PowerSchool Links
In addition to the PowerSchool access, on August 16, an email will be sent to parents of students in kindergarten through fifth grade with teacher assignment and detailed bus information. Please check your spam/junk mail folders if you do not see this message in your inbox.   If you have multiple children in the District, your individual email messages may also be grouped together in your inbox.
School Supplies
All necessary materials and supplies for learning in the elementary classroom will be provided by the District. We understand parents often want to supplement those materials, and if they choose to, are welcome to purchase additional items for their students (designer folders, pencil cases, etc.).

At the middle and high school level, teachers may have recommendations for school supplies and calculators. If your family can use assistance from the District in obtaining these supplies or others (backpacks, shoes, jackets, etc.), please contact your child’s teacher or school counselor.
Student Meal Prices
The USDA waivers that allowed us to provide free meals for all students have not been renewed for the 2022-2023 school year. If you believe your child qualifies for free or reduced meals, please fill out the form sent home the first week of classes or complete the application online

  • Breakfast (Grades K-12) - $1.85
  • Lunch (Grades K-5) - $3.15
  • Lunch (Grades 6-12) - $3.25 and $3.60
  • Reduced Price Breakfast (Grades K-12)- $0.30
  • Reduced Price Lunch (Grades K-12) - $0.40

Depositing Money Into Student Accounts
Over the summer the District switched from k12paymentcenter to TITAN for use by parents in managing their student meal account and student fee online payments. If your child had unused funds in their k12paymentcenter account, their balance has been automatically transferred to TITAN for you. For directions on setting up your TITAN account, please click here. TITAN may also be used to apply for free or reduced meals.
District Issued Device Check
For those families returning from last school year, please take a moment to check your student’s iPad/Chromebook to make sure it is able to turn on and is working correctly. If your student’s device needs repairs, as soon as possible, drop it off at the Administration Center (507 Fishing Creek Road, Lewisberry) between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday, so our technicians can get the device up and running prior to the first day of classes. For families new to West Shore, your child will be receiving a device for their use this school year, more details to come.
Fifth Annual First Day of School Video
One of our favorite West Shore traditions is our first day signs and video to commemorate the start of another school year. Last year’s video featured 947 students, 87 staff members, 2 student teachers, 9 pets, and 9 future West Shore students (ie. younger siblings)! We would love to surpass that number this year.  Click here for details on how you can participate.
