The West Shore School District is committed to excellence and is proud to offer a High School Summer Credit Program for our students and families. This program provides flexible opportunities for both credit acceleration and credit recovery, allowing students to stay on track or get ahead in their academic journey.

All courses are supervised by WSSD staff, ensuring a high-quality, supportive learning experience. Our team is here to guide and assist families throughout the process.

This summer, West Shore's music department will offer a 6-week program for continued music study, open to instrumental band students. The program is available to rising 6^th through 8^th graders who play flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, horn, trumpet, trombone, baritone, tuba, or percussion. The program will be held at Old Trail Intermediate School.

 

Includes weekly small group lesson and weekly ensemble rehearsal with a culminating concert on July 16, 2026

Cost: $175 for residents/$200 for non-resident

Fees can be made via our First National Bank (FNB) Online Payment System. This is the same payment system utilized to make activity fee payments. 
A service fee of $2.50 or 2.9% (whichever is greater) will apply to card payments and a $2.00 service fee will apply to payments made by checking or savings accounts. These fees are charged by the card and payment processor, not by West Shore School District. West Shore School District does not receive any portion of these fees.
