Career Education

Steps to Successful Career Planning

Self-Exploration – what do you like to do?

Personality Assessment – does it match with your career ideas?

Career Exploration – which of the 16 pathways is right for you? Utilize job shadowing, internships, summer camps, and other activities outside of school to help the student better understand pathways and opportunities.

Set a tentative career goal – take advantage of all educational opportunities the district provides.

Education and Training – what is needed, at what cost, and is there a job available after receiving that education and training?

We encourage parents and students to watch the following video entitled Success in the New Economy.
