Recently, one of our families experienced a scam that took advantage of their worst fear, that their child may be in danger. With the families’ permission, I felt a need to warn our entire school community of this scam and to provide information should your family face a similar situation. 

We received 522 responses to the calendar survey this year and on February 15, the Board of School Directors adopted a calendar for the 2024-2025 school year with Tuesday, September 3, as the first day of school for students.

Kindergarten registration has begun in the West Shore School District for the 2024-2025 school year and we can't wait to meet the class of 2037!  To complete the kindergarten registration process, your child must be at least five years of age before October 1, 2024, possess an official birth certificate, and proper immunization records. West Shore uses PowerSchool Registration, an easy to use, secure online registration system which makes uploading this documentation from home easy and convenient.
