Hello Allen Families!

Welcome! My name is Patty Harrington and I am the acting principal at Allen Middle School.  I served as the Assistant Principal at Allen Middle School for the past two years.  Prior to that I served as an instructional advisor for special education at Red Land High School and Allen Middle School.  I previously taught elementary and high school special education at several buildings within West Shore School District.  This is my 25th Year in the West Shore School District!  I have lived and raised my children in West Shore.  This is my home.

 

I believe deeply in our district’s vision of providing students with inspiring and relevant experiences so they may live meaningful, purposeful, and impactful lives.  My responsibility as principal is to ensure that all of our students find success both academically and socially.  This is not always easy during the middle school years.  A strong partnership between the school and home is important to that success!  I believe frequent communication throughout the school year is one way to strengthen that partnership. I will send out a monthly newsletter sharing important dates and information from the building.  I will also utilize our school’s Instagram and X accounts to highlight what is going on at school, so be sure to follow us   @AllenMustangs if you are not already.
