Dudley and Sylvia Kramer Memorial Scholarship/ARC of York County: Seniors whose goal is to work with persons with intellectual disabilities and show a demonstrated need for financial aid are eligible.  Applications in guidance file and on Naviance.  DEADLINE:  3/2/22
Penn-Cumberland Garden Club Scholarship:  Current high school senior planning to major in Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Architecture, Conservation, Forestry, Urban or Regional Planning, Environmental Science, Botany or ecology related studies may apply. Sergeant Philip German Memorial Scholarship: Up to $5000 awarded to dependents of children of PA veterans of the Armed Services. Applications in guidance file or on Naviance.  DEADLINE:  5/16/22
Irvin E Herr Foundation:  Up to $2500 toward tuition costs for graduating seniors based on character, academic record, achievements and goals and financial need.  Applications in guidance or on Naviance.  DEADLINE:  4/30/22
PA State Society of Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR):  Several PA DAR scholarships offered locally.  Info on Naviance and in guidance file. One is an academic scholarship, one for nursing majors and for American History majors. DEADLINE:  2/15/22

Epilsepy Assn of Western & Central PA: Graduating seniors with doctor’s diagnosis of epilepsy who will attend school full-time following graduation are eligible to apply.  Applications available in guidance and on Naviance.  DEADLINE:  4/4/22
Her Traditions Scholarship Program:  Female students with GPA 3.0+ and at least 20 hours of community service within the past 12 months who have proven leadership activities through the school or community are eligible for these awards.  All info and applications online:  DEADLINE:  3/1/22
Garden Club of Harrisburg: Seniors who will attend a 4 year program majoring in Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Architecture, Conservation, Forestry, Botany, Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Environmental Science, Land Management, Wildlife Sciences, Urban or Regional Planning or other plant or ecology related studies are eligible for this $1000 scholarship. West Shore Secretaries and Aides Assn (WSSAA): Seniors from RL or CC who will further their education in Business (finance, accounting or marketing), Computer Science or Education studies are eligible for this $1000 award.  Essay required.  Applications on Naviance or in guidance files.  DEADLINE:  4/19/21
United Steel Workers/Hugh Carcella Scholarship:  Applicants must be legal dependent of United Steelworkers, District 10 member.  $1000/year for four years available for studies resulting in Bachelor’s Degree (two year programs leading to further study accepted).  Must contact the local union office.  DEADLINE:  3/15/22

Nick Pantalone Memorial Scholarship:  $2500 scholarship offered to one Central PA student graduating this spring.  Essay required: “I don’t want to survive; I want to live.”  Applications on Naviance or in guidance file.  DEADLINE:  4/10/22
Newberry Elementary PTO Award:  $500 scholarship offered to senior who attended Newberry Elementary School for at least three years.  Award based on academic and extracurricular success, financial need and future goals.  Short essay required.  Applications in guidance and on Naviance.  DEADLINE:  to guidance by 4/6/22
Christa McAuliffe Scholarship:  Seniors who will pursue degree in education this fall, with good scholastic standing, financial need and demonstrated interest in teaching are eligible to apply for $1000 - $3000 awards. 2022 Young Women in Public Affairs Award/Zonta Club of Harrisburg:  Zonta International is a global organization encouraging young women to participate in public affairs by recognizing their commitment to the volunteer sector, evidence of volunteer leadership and a dedication to empowering women through service and advocacy.  $1000 to use for tuition, fees and materials at secondary school in fall of 2022.  Applications on Naviance and in guidance file.  Info also online:  DEADLINE:  3/1/22

US Dept of Agriculture/1890 National Scholars Program:  Scholarship provided to students pursuing an agriculture or agriculture-related bachelor’s degree at specific colleges (list in guidance).  Must have GPA of 3.0+. demonstated leadership and community service and applied to study at one of the 19 Land Grant Universities in the field of agriculture, food, natural resource sciences, or other related studies. US Dept of Agriculture 1994 Tribal Scholars Program:  Seniors seeking a bachelor’s degree at one of the 35 1994 Land Grant universities (list in guidance) in the field of agriculture, food, natural resource sciences or related studies, with GPA of 3.0+ and demonstrated leadership and community service are eligible.  All info online:   DEADLINE:  1/31/22
Eastern PA Information Technology Data Management (EPAITDM):  They offer 2 $1000 scholarships to high school seniors who will pursue a career in information technology/computer science who have exhibited good character and leadership qualities.
