The District understands the value of educational trips to enhance and enrich the school experience for students. Therefore, students may be absent from school for educational trips/experiences provided their parent/guardian submits the appropriate form no less than five school days in advance of the proposed trip. Board Policy 231 provides additional information about the Educational Trip Request approval process and guidelines.
