My name is Dr. Michele Trevino and I am the principal of Old Trail Intermediate School. Joining me in leading Old Trail is Mr. Douglas Knepp, our assistant principal. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to serve the families of the West Shore School District as the building leaders of Old Trail Intermediate School.

At Old Trail, our primary objective is to foster a positive school experience for students, families, and staff. A strong school community is built on the active involvement of families. This partnership is crucial in creating a school where students want to learn, staff want to work, and families want to send their children. It is what makes our school community a success.

We are excited to offer opportunities for collaboration and involvement. Through our Old Trail PTO, you have avenues to be informed and contribute. We encourage you to attend our PTO meetings and join our PTO Facebook page.  There are many ways to be involved here at Old Trail from school events to community nights to fundraising for student activities including field trips.

In addition, each day at Old Trail, we are excited to encourage students to Blaze Your Own TRAIL.  TRAIL stands for being Thoughtful, Responsible, Accountable, Impactful, and a Leader.   These traits will anchor our PBIS framework and outline how we teach, encourage, support, and celebrate our students' learning, growth, and development!
