I grew up in Northumberland, Pennsylvania. I graduated from Shikellamy High School.  I attended Edinboro University where I earned my bachelor of arts in Speech and Hearing Disorders (1997) and a Master of Education in Special Education.  Several years later, I earned a Master of Education in Secondary School Counseling at Shippensburg University.

I live in Dillsburg with my husband and our two kids, JJ and Jocelyn. In addition we have a cat named Carley. 

I worked in the Harrisburg School District from 1999-2001 before joining the West Shore School District.  I have taught and served in various positions at Allen and New Cumberland Middle Schools. In addition to Red Land and Cedar Cliff High Schools. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my kids or watching them participate in sports. We love going to Hershey Park!  I also enjoy running, watching all things HGTV/ DIY, and working on projects in my home.
