Pathway Internship is an opportunity for students to do a semester long job shadow with a sponsor of their choice. Students are encourged to find a sponsor on their own in the career field they are thinking about. If they cannot find a placement, Mr. Gay will then help them find one. Completing an internship will give them insight into whether this is a career for them before leaving high school. Our mission is for all students to have a solid transition plan upon leaving high school.
Cooperative Education is an opportunity for students to work and recieve school credit at the same time. Students can be either morning or afternoon Coop students. Usually a student will attend school for 3 periods and then leave to go to work or work and then come into schoo for 3 periods. All Coop students must work a mininum of 15 hours during the school day during the school week. Some modifactoin can be made on an individual basis depending on how many credits a student must take in order to meet graduation requirements.
