Revised 2018-2019 School Calendar Adopted

It is now official, the last day of school for students will be an Early Dismissal on Friday, June 7. On April 16, 2019, the Board of School Directors adopted a revised 2018-2019 school calendar (available as an attachment below) which does not require students to make-up the February 12 and February 20 weather related closings. However, in order for professional staff to reach their contractual 191 work days, two additional days were added for teachers.  More +

Summer Meals

Kids & Teens Eat Free This Summer

From June 17 through August 16, the West Shore School District, in partnership with Sodexo, will offer free breakfast and lunch service! No registration is needed for children up to 18 years-old, regardless of their family’s economic status or district of residence, to obtain a free breakfast and/or lunch. Red Land High School Track and Tennis Court Resurfacing

The track and tennis court surfaces at Red Land High School are getting resurfaced. During the resurfacing and fencing updates at Red Land, the tennis courts, track, bleachers, concession area, restrooms, and grass fields will be closed.  Specifically, repairs will be taking place at the tennis courts from May 8 through mid-July, and at the track from May 11 through mid-August. Summer Office Hours & Report Card Information

For a seven-week period from June 17–August 2, all District schools and the Administration Center for Education will be open Monday through Thursday and closed on Fridays. In addition,  fourth marking period report cards will be available for pick up at each school during regular work hours by Monday, June 24 and may also be accessed online after June 13 via PowerSchool.  More +

Opportunity for Incoming Kindergarten Students

Mission Transition offers children who are entering kindergarten in August with the opportunity to develop social skills while exploring beginning literacy and math concepts.

Each session begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 11:30 a.m. Students may attend any or all of the dates at no cost.

The District is very pleased to share a completed 3D rendering of the new Rossmoyne Elementary School.
