District Health and Safety Plan

health and safety cover
The District has worked diligently over the last several months to develop a Health and Safety Plan for the safe reopening of schools. In addition to the Pandemic Team identified in the Plan, the District sought the feedback of numerous key stakeholder groups, including local physicians; legal counsel; District nurses; teachers; food services, maintenance and custodial staff; building and department administrators; and survey and email feedback from students, staff, and parents.

While it may be necessary to revise the Plan as conditions evolve over the coming months, on August 20, 2020, the Board of School Directors approved a Health and Safety Plan. Click here to view the Plan and presentations made to the Board.

In January, after PDE released its Future Ready Index for the 2018-2019 school year, we as a District reflected on our measures of success as well. We invite you to take a few minutes to join us in looking back on last school year and the many reasons we are #WestShoreProud!

Special thanks to the following students for participating in this year's video (in order of appearance): Lola Williams, Talan Shultz, Kaylee Kramer, Keith Williams, Raegan Buxton, Jocelyn Heredia, and Connor McCullough. Additionally, to Dr. Whye, Assistant Superintendent, for gathering data and narrating.

Our Pledge

We are committed to providing students with inspiring and relevant experiences so they may live meaningful, purposeful, and impactful lives.
