A recording of the National Anthem performed by Red Land High School’s Chamber Singers comprised of Seniors Kolsen Scharein and Josh Wickert with Juniors Grace Michelsen and Quinn Starrett, was played.

Treasurer’s Report
The Board approved the Treasurer’s Report for the month ending August 31, 2021, showing invested and available funds of $33,877,019.29.

Legal Update and Central Treasury
Dr. Stoltz indicated the latest legal update from the solicitor’s office was available for Board members, and Dr. Argot shared the Central Treasury Reports for Cedar Cliff and Red Land High Schools.
Superintendent's Report - Health and Safety Plan
Board Reports
Mrs. Crocenzi and Mr. Stoltenburg provided an overview of the Board's recent visit to Crossroads Middle School. Mrs. Crocenzi shared that Mr. Kane and students are utilizing the school tower gardens to grow lettuce and will begin an Astronomy Club this year.
Mr. Guistwhite shared that Moody’s Investor Services upgraded the District’s bond rating.
Mrs. Tierney invited the community and staff to join the West Shore Foundation at the
Sixth Annual Gala on Saturday, October 2.
Recognition by the Board
The Board recognized Red Land High School's Varsity Baseball Team on their success during the Spring 2021 season. Accomplishments of the team included earning the following titles: Mid Penn Conference (MPC) Commonwealth Champions, MPC Tournament Champions, PIAA District III Class 5A Champions, and PIAA Class 5A State Runner-Up.

Bills for Approval
The Board approved bills for the period August 19, 2021, through September 8, 2021, listing checks which totaled $1,435,512.88.

The Board approved all personnel items as presented.
Contract for Services – School Based Therapy
In the spring of 2020, the District began providing Tier 3 and QUEST (Quality Emotional Supports and Trauma) Therapeutic school funded interventions. To the greatest extent possible, school-based mental health outpatient therapy is billed to Medicaid or a student’s medical insurance. In cases where the student’s insurance does not cover the cost of therapy the District will be billed.
The Board approved a contract with Folium, Inc., d/b/a Laurel Life Services for School Based Therapy. Therapists provide daily group lessons and weekly individual sessions for all students in the QUEST classrooms at Hillside and Red Mill Elementary schools. Additionally, these therapists provide Tier 3 level supports to the entire school community as well as trauma informed professional growth and consultation with staff.
Cedar Cliff High School Wrestling Trip
The Board approved a trip for the Cedar Cliff High School wrestling team to Greeley, Colorado from December 15-20, 2021, for the Northern Colorado Christmas Tournament.
