Elementary Teacher Assignments
At 3 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, the PowerSchool portal will reopen for elementary parents. At that time, class and schedule information for all students will be available in PowerSchool. That is also when kindergarten families will learn their assignment to morning or afternoon kindergarten. In addition, on Tuesday, August 11, an email will be sent to parents of students in kindergarten through fifth grade with teacher assignment information. Please check your spam/junk mail folders if you do not see this message in your inbox. Bus information will be emailed to parents prior to Phase 2.
Devices and School Supply Pick Up
We have designated Monday, August 17 and Tuesday, August 18 for device and materials pick-up. Principals will send out the pick-up schedule for their building on August 7 along with information about obtaining these materials if unable to join us on August 17 or 18.
During pick up, all necessary materials and supplies for learning in the elementary classroom will be provided by the District. This will include a District issued iPad for grades K-2 and Chromebook for grades 3-5. We understand parents often want to supplement those materials, and if they choose to, are welcome to purchase additional items for their students (designer folders, pencil cases, etc.).
Back to School, New Family, and Kindergarten Orientations
In person events will not be held; however, virtual events will be scheduled for students and their families. More information will be shared by schools as plans are finalized.
