The Communications Department manages the communications, marketing, written and electronic publications, website content, public relations, media relations, and social media needs of the West Shore School District. We welcome all types and levels of participation and feedback. Whether it is a student asking a question on twitter; a parent who has called with a concern; a staff member with a creative idea; a business looking to partner with the District, or simply an interested resident; every interaction is an opportunity to strengthen our community and District pride.
Along with the Superintendent, the Coordinator of Community Relations serves as the official media spokesperson for the school district.
All media requests should be directed to the Communications Department. West Shore students may not be interviewed or photographed by the media without District and parent consent.
If you are staff member seeking publicity or promotion for a program, event or service, contact
Rhonda Fourhman, Coordinator of Community Relations at 717-938-9577.
Throughout the school year, the District produces various publications for staff, families, and the community including On Board, Points of Pride, and the Student & Family Handbooks. To download these publications in PDF format, please use the links below.
