Workplace Safety Files & Committee Information

District's Workplace Safety Committee

national safety council
Staff members who are "hurt on the job" or have a near miss are encouraged to report the workplace accident to the District's worker's compensation representative (in the business office) on the day of the incident (or at least within 24 hours) to ensure they get the appropriate medical treatment and to help the workplace safety.

Each month the District's Workplace Safety Committee meets to discuss workplace accidents to explore ways to prevent future injuries.  Several resources from the Workplace Safety Committee are found below.  Anyone interested in attending a Workplace Safety Committee meeting should check with their supervisor to confirm scheduling availability.  Minutes from the monthly meetings are distributed for posting on staff bulletin boards in all schools.
