ABOUT DR. AUERBACHER:
In 1942, when Dr. Auerbacher was just seven years-old, she was deported from Germany to a Nazi concentration camp in Czechoslovakia. Approximately 15,000 children were imprisoned at this concentration camp between 1941 and 1945; very few children emerged from the camp alive. Miraculously, Inge and her parents survived these terrible years and in 1946 immigrated to the United States. A writer and chemist, Auerbacher has published six books including I Am A Star: Child of the Holocaust.
