We are delighted to announce the selection of Mr. Mathew Gay as the next Assistant Superintendent of the West Shore School District. On April 20, the Board of School Directors unanimously approved his appointment to replace Dr. Jamie Whye who is retiring in June following nine years of service to the District.
Due to current and projected future enrollment related to residential development and the shift of fifth grade students to the new intermediate schools, elementary attendance boundary changes are required and may impact the elementary school your child attends. On Thursday, April 20, an informational presentation will be made to the Board. It is important to note that the Board will not be taking any official action on the elementary attendance boundary changes at this time. The presentation is being shared as informational only to gather feedback and continue discussion.
