Summer School Applications Now Being Accepted

The West Shore School District is offering summer remediation and acceleration courses at NO COST to students or their families this year. Courses will run from June 10-July 22, 2021 and are being offered entirely online. SCHOOL CLOSURE: Fairview Elementary School – May 15-19, 2021

May 14, 2021 - Due to the current number of active COVID-19 cases, the Department of Health has recommended we close Fairview Elementary School for in-person instruction, athletic events, and extracurricular activities, effective Saturday, May 14, and unless circumstances change and you are notified otherwise, reopen our school on Thursday, May 20. Proposed Final Budget for 2021-2022 Available for Review

On May 13, 2021, the Board approved a proposed final budget for the 2021-2022 fiscal year.  The 2021-2022 Final Budget will be presented for approval at the Board of School Directors monthly meeting on June 17, 2021 at 6:30 p.m.  To review the 2021-2022 budget and presentation made to the board during the development process, please visit the Business Department page.

Calendar Update: Last Day for All Students will now be Thursday, June 3

It is now official, the last day of school for students will be a full day of classes on Thursday, June 3. On May 13, the Board of School Directors adopted a revised 2020-2021 school calendar which does not require students to attend in-person or online classes on Friday, June 4, 2021. Professional staff will have a full Act 80 Day on June 4.
