On October 15, 2020, Lower Allen Elementary was informed a student tested positive for COVID-19. This student was last in school on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, which was prior to the time when the majority of students returned on October 13, 2020. However, to do our part in mitigating the spread of COVID-19, we believe it is important to share this information with you. Exciting Changes to our Breakfast and Lunch Program

Until further notice, all students are eligible to receive breakfast and lunch for free this school year.  Thanks to changes in regulations, that includes students who are returning for in person instruction the week of October 13, and those who are continuing to work remotely with Distance Learning 2.0. Health and Safety Plan Adopted

The District has worked diligently over the last several months to develop a Health and Safety Plan for the safe reopening of schools. In addition to the Pandemic Team identified in the Plan, the District sought the feedback of numerous key stakeholder groups, including local physicians; legal counsel; District nurses; teachers; food services, maintenance and custodial staff; building and department administrators; and survey and email feedback from students, staff, and parents. Revised Phased School Reopening Plan

On September 10, Dr. Stoltz, Superintendent, and Dr. Whye, Assistant Superintendent, shared the District's revised Phased School Reopening Plan. Following the revised plan, beginning October 13, students will have the option to transition to in person instruction with blended learning. The revised plan does not impact those students who have already returned for some in person classes with vo-tech or through our Special Education program.  For more information, please click here.
