Welcome to Mrs. Reilly's Webpage

Mrs. Reilly uses a gentle approach to reading and everything.

Welcome to Mrs. Reilly's web page!

The internet is one way that you may access information about what we are doing in school. But admittedly, I am not a webmaster and instead set my priorities on time spent with your children (rather than frequent or fancy upgrades to this page.) So the very best way for parents to stay apprised of their child's work and progress in school is to look at the Take Home Folder each afternoon (with your child) to review work and check for any special notes. Thank you.

I will be sending home monthly newsletters so that you may have a hard copy of upcoming activities and dates to mark on your calendar. You may also access the latest news from the sub page on this site.

Special features will be posted on a password protected page. (The password will be given in person at Back To School Night to ensure security and privacy.)

I will also use a "Remind" feature to text you any time-sensitive news.  For this, you must sign up to be included.  That information will be provided securely (with an introductory letter sent home and at Back To School Night, too.)

If there is anything you would like me to know to help me work with your child and your family, please feel free to email: or place a note in your child's Return pocket so that I will be sure to see it. I look forward to hearing from you.

Meet Mrs. Reilly

When Mrs. Reilly is not in school...

Hello. This site offers the opportunity for me to introduce myself.

My name is Mrs. Elizabeth Reilly (Liz.) I absolutely love teaching!

My philosophy of education centers on considering the whole child. This means that besides academic considerations, we must respect and care for the individual's strengths as well as needs with regard to learning style, social skills, and emotional development too. Of course along with my best attention, interest, and effort with your child at school, it it your role as parent that I admire and respect. Therefore I ask for your input and support as we work together as partners to give your child the very best educational experience during this exciting time of life.

Besides teaching, I also love my life at home with my husband Terry and rescued retriever Jackie Blue. My pleasures in life are pretty simple: spending time outdoors either right in my own back yard, away in the mountains, or by the tranquility of water.  I am energized by biking, spending fun time with friends, and enjoying (making or playing) music. Music must be part of my soul, as your children will attest that it seems that I can't help but incorporate song in almost every thing we do. They may relate this by teasing and rolling their eyes at my singing and as we find that humor is a very necessary part of school (and life, tee hee.)

Now that I have introduced myself in an attempt for you to get to know your child's teacher, it is my hope that you might feel comfortable sharing with me some information about yourself, your family, your child's life. Feel free to contact me via e-mail: or use the contact tab on this homepage.

I look forward to getting to know your child and you!
