Mrs. Agnew's Music Info

Welcome to the Music Room

Welcome Highland and Rossmoyne students and parents.  I service all the students at HG and RS and look forward to a wonderful school year in the music rooms.

I'll be seeing 2nd grade and 5th grade students twice a cycle and kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade students once a cycle.  All fifth graders will meet with me for chorus.  At Rossmoyne the fifth graders attend the December 14th and two May 21st concerts at Allen Middle School.  At Highland all the students in kindergarten through 5th grade attend the December 18th "School Wide" concert at 9 a.m. at Cedar Cliff High School.  Highland fifth graders attend two May 30th concerts which are also at Cedar Cliff High School.  Check the concert pages for more info.

Remember if you want the dates for the fifth grade chorus concerts, check out the 2018-2019 CONCERT SCHEDULE for your school!

No question or problem is too small to bring to my attention - so if I can aid you in any way let me know.

About A Agnew

I have my bachelor's degree in Music Education from Edinboro University of PA and my master's degree in Elementary Ed from Edinboro University. I have 22 yrs. of experience teaching elementary and middle school music.  My career started at Millcreek School District in Erie, then I taught in Carlisle at St. Patrick's School and did long term subbing at East Pennsboro Middle School. I have been working for 16 years at West Shore School District and have enjoyed teaching general music, chorus, orchestra and band.

I have lived for 23 yrs. in Mechanicsburg and have a 29 yr. old daughter, Sarah,  and my son Charlie is 34.   I've been married to my wonderful husband, Chuck, for 40 years.  Charlie's daughter, Evette, is 8 1/2 years old and is my first grandchild and starting third grade this fall.

We are owners of a "wild and wooly" white mini labradoddle, Molly, and she is 3 years old.  Molly enjoys pushing the boundaries on her "invisible fence", protecting the family from odd sounds in the neighborhood and giving sloppy dog kisses.
