All About Mrs. Shue

Who is Mrs. Shue?!

Hello everyone! Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year. My name is Kelsey Shue and I teach science, social studies and writing. I also coach Girls on the Run and I am an advisor for Academic Bowl. This will be my sixth year at Washington Heights and I am super excited to work with each of your children!

I graduated from Albright College in May of 2012 with a degree in English and certification to teach grades kindergarten through sixth grade.  While at Albright, I was a member of the field hockey team. In June of 2018, I graduated from Drexel University with a Masters  degree in Special Education and certification to teach Special Education grades pre-kindergarten to eight grade.

In my spare time, I like to spend time with my husband and our children, Harper and Aiden. We love to go to Phillies games, take our golden retriever to the park and travel. Our favorite spot is the beach and we try to get there every summer. We also love attending concerts! So far I have seen Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band and Thomas Rhett.
