The West Shore School District’s commitment to excellence is evident in its academic, athletic, and extracurricular activities. Each year, many students receive accolades for their high achievement in all three of these areas. These accomplishments are testaments to the quality programs offered by the District, the hard-working individuals who deliver and contribute to the programs, the families and community members who support them, and most importantly, the students who commit themselves to achieving their goals.
In addition to those many achievements, I am very proud of the efforts made by staff and students to give back to the community. Each school participates in fundraising initiatives to help support their local community, whether it is for specific individuals in need or for programs with a broader reach. Some of our greatest accomplishments are teaching children to care, show compassion, and the act of giving.
Many wonderful opportunities exist for parents and community members to partner with the District. These partnerships can take many different forms and I invite you to join us in as many programs, events, and activities as you can. Your involvement and input are essential and if you have any suggestions or questions about the District, please do not hesitate to submit them via the “Contact Us” page.
As superintendent, I am excited to continue these strong traditions of excellence in the West Shore School District and ask you to join me in supporting the District’s mission of “providing this generation with a quality education serving as a foundation for responsible and successful citizenship.” I look forward to working with all members of the District community to achieve our shared vision of excellence for our students.
Sincerely,
Todd Stoltz, Superintendent of Schools
