Numerous avenues exist within each school for parents and community members to participate in the educational process. PTO groups are thriving in all District elementary schools, coordinating activities that promote the involvement of all school families. At the secondary schools, principal advisory groups or involved parent groups function effectively.

Volunteer opportunities abound in every school. Whether it be serving as a guest reader, chaperoning school field trips, being a homework buddy or tutor to students who are struggling, or planning the post prom activities at the high schools, parents are strongly encouraged to take an active role in school life.
