Message from the Superintendent | Public Meeting - January 31st
1/20/2017-1/31/2017
Recently, the District’s Feasibility & Facilities Committee asked students, staff, parents, and community members to participate in a brief survey. Over 2,000 individuals shared their concerns and provided feedback on what issues mattered to them. To each of you who completed the survey – thank you. Based on survey responses, results from a feasibility study conducted by RLPS Architects, and the recommendation of the Board of School Directors, the District has arrived at three preliminary options for consideration.
Each of these options provides opportunities to update our facilities, address security issues, accommodate growing enrollment trends, and provide 21st Century Learning environments for students. The Feasibility & Facilities Committee is interested in hearing from you again as it works to evaluate and refine these options.
A public meeting will be held in the auditorium at Crossroads Middle School on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 starting promptly at 7 p.m.
During the meeting the District’s Feasibility & Facilities Committee, in conjunction with RLPS Architects, will present the three options and provide the community with time to comment and ask questions.
It is an exciting time to be a part of the District as we craft a vision for facilities that will serve students well into the future. Please plan to join us on January 31.
Todd Stoltz, Superintendent of Schools
