Greetings Hillside Families & Community Members!
VOLUNTEERS: Thank you to all the parents who completed the Volunteer approval process this year. The information can be found at: http://www.wssd.k12.pa.us/community.cfm?subpage=132452. Volunteering at school is an excellent way to experience first hand the educational environment your child is a part of each day. IF you plan to attend a field trip you MUST be approved.
Please remember that school opens at 8:30 a.m. each day and students should be dropped off as close to this time as possible as there is no supervision prior to 8:30 a.m. Also, We dismiss promptly at 3:30 pm, so please plan your pick-ups for this time. PLEASE be cautious when driving to/from school. Always stop for any stop signs.
CAFETERIA: Please make sure you are keeping your child’s lunch account up to date and it does not have a negative balance. You can do so online at K12PaymentCenter.com or by sending checks in with the student made out to the West Shore Cafeteria Fund. If you feel your family qualifies for free or reduced lunch prices please contact the office for the forms to complete. If your family’s circumstances change during the year, you can always reapply.
