College Planning Seminar 
Thursday September 28 from 7-9 p.m. Peter Van Buskirk will be presenting “The Down and Dirty of College Admission”  at Camp Hill High School in the auditorium.  The program is open to all parents and students (no registration is needed), but is mostly geared to 10-12 grade students and their parents. 

Peter is an entertaining and informative speaker who helps the audience understand college admissions behind the scenes. See related file below for more details.

Architecture, Construction & Engineering (ACE) Mentor Program at Cumberland Perry Area Vocational Technical School
Application Deadline - October 4th

  • Students in grades 10-12 may apply
  • 16 sessions October through March, held on Thursdays 4:30 – 6:30 (includes light dinner)
  • Students work in teams to design and create projects
  • Industry professionals serve as mentors for the teams
  • Work site visits 
  • Topics: architecture; civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering; system integration/scheduling; construction estimating and bidding; construction management; Interior and Landscape; finishes & safety
  • Cost: $25 (includes supplies and meals)

Steps to Apply to the ACE Mentor Program

  1. Go to http://www.acementor.org/registration
  2. Click on New Student Registration
  3. Compete the New Member Registration form and click Continue
  4. The next screen displays your email and password - WRITE IT DOWN AND SAVE
  5. Click Log In
  6. The next screen displays the School Year Registration. Complete all required fields. You can return to your Registration later to add additional information or to make corrections.
  7. Click submit when you are done
  8. The next screen displays a Thank You page with a Parent Consent form. Down load the form and follow the instructions on screen.
  9. At this point you are done registering with acementor.org and completing the 2017-18 School Year Registration.
  10. Click on the Login and view your account information link.
