Due to a bus driver shortage, all Allen Middle School students will be dismissed today, January 21, at 1:45 p.m. This early dismissal is for Allen students only. All other schools will follow their regular schedule.
Families of students utilizing District transportation can anticipate their child arriving home approximately one hour earlier than their regularly scheduled drop off time.
Walkers and students who are picked up by a parent will also be dismissed at 1:45 p.m.
The District and First Student have taken all possible measures to avoid this situation, but unfortunately, we simply do not have enough bus drivers to cover all of our afternoon runs today.
We realize this schedule change may require some of our families to adjust their plans for today. Please know we appreciate your support and patience as we continue doing our best to provide transportation in a safe and timely manner.
