NCMS TIGER PRIDE CHALLENGE
- 8/16/2022 from 9:15-11:00 am
- This opportunity is only for incoming 6th-grade students.
- Students should be dropped off at the Old Main entrance to the building (large pillars and stairs) and will be picked up at the main office entrance (blue table area).
- Activities will support your child's transition to middle school: getting familiar with NCMS and class locations, locker practice, forming new relationships and meeting new friends.

NCMS NEW FAMILY AND 6TH GRADE ORIENTATION
- 8/22/2022 at 6:00 PM
- 6th grade students and parents will begin in the auditorium with a welcome from Mr. D'Annibale and then travel to their mod 1 classroom with their teacher.
- 7th and 8th grade students and families new to NCMS will begin in the auditorium. When 6th graders leave for their classrooms, 7th and 8th grade new students will stay behind for a Q&A with Mr. D'Annibale and then may tour the building.
- Only 6th-grade teachers will attend the evening of 8/22/22. 7th and 8th-grade teacher are in attendance on Back To School Night.
NCMS 6th Grade and New Student Self-Directed Open Building Tours
- This is for students and families who cannot attend the Tiger Pride Challenge or 6th Grade Orientation.
- Dates for tours are as follows:
- August 15th from 9:00- 12:00 PM
- August 17th from 12:00-3:00 PM
- August 18th from 9:00-12:00 PM
- If you choose to attend, you may enter through the main office to obtain a map of the building, and our office staff will let you know where to go for your classes.
7th and 8th Grade Back to School Night
- 9/6/22 at 6:00 PM
- This is an opportunity for parents to travel their child's schedule and formally meet each teacher.
- More details will be provided closer to the date.
NCMS Parent Association
- Are you looking to be involved in the MSPA here at NCMS? We hope so! Our first MSPA meeting will be on 9/13/22 at 7:00 PM. we are still deciding whether to hold the meetings in person or via Zoom. Communication will be sent out closer to that date.
- Beginning in October, PTO meetings will be on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM. In-person or via Zoom is yet to be decided.
