TB Clinic for Volunteers - Week of December 9th
Interested in chaperoning a school field trip or volunteering to help with extracurricular activities? To assist prospective volunteers in obtaining a Tuberculous (TB) test, one requirement of the Child Protective Services Act of 2014, the District’s school nurses are planning a TB Clinic.

TB testing is a two part test.  Part one is administering the TB test and part two is the TB test reading. During the week of December 9th, we have two appointment options available.

Option 1
Monday, December 9 (administered) and Wednesday, December 11 (reading)

Option 2
Wednesday, December 11 (administered) and Friday, December 13 (reading)

Location
TB testing will take place at the Administration Center between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. all three nights.

Cost
The cost of the test is $20. Cash or checks made payable to the West Shore School District should be brought along the first night.  If you do not return for part two, the test will be invalid and you will need to start over and pay for a second test. Please make sure you can attend both nights.

Pre-Registration
Please click here to pre-register.  To ensure we have adequate supplies and staff available, please complete the pre-registration form by Friday, December 6, 2019.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering in our schools!   For additional information about Volunteer Policy and Procedures, please visit the Volunteer Information page located under the Communty tab or click here.

PLEASE NOTE:
An individual must be documented as being free from TB before serving as a volunteer. A TB test is not required annually if a volunteer’s service to the school or the District is continuous (at least one occasion of volunteering annually). If you are uncertain of your status, please contact one of our school nurses.
