School-Wide Writing and Art Magazine Revealed
The Creative Writing 2 class at Cedar Cliff High School produced a school-wide Writing and Art Magazine. The class solicited prose and poetry from the student body and encouraged students who received recognition from the Scholastic Art & Writing contest to submit content. Cedar Cliff art classes provided paintings and sculptures to accompany the writing pieces.

“It got us out of our comfort zone and shows off the talents of students at our school,” sophomore Zayda Minium said. The project also built on the sense of community created in the writing course, providing a lasting memory of their semester together.

The online book was produced using Canva, which enabled the students to hone their design and editing skills. Select pages from the magazine can be previewed below. To view larger versions of the entire magazine, please visit the Canva website (click here).
