Students registered to take the SAT Testing at Cedar Cliff High School on Saturday, December 5, 2020, should arrive by 7:30 a.m.
Safety Protocols
- Students and testing staff are required to wear masks.
- If a Student has traveled over the Thanksgiving Holiday, or is traveling to take the SAT test from out of state, it is that Student’s responsibility to know and follow the travel restrictions required in Pennsylvania. Under the Secretary of Health’s Revised Travel Order, a Pennsylvania Student who is returning from visiting another state or country (not Pennsylvania) after 11/25/20 and for more than 24 hours, is required to produce a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to entering Pennsylvania, or to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival in Pennsylvania or until they receive a negative COVID-19 test, unless they qualify for one of the exemptions. Any Student traveling from outside Pennsylvania for the SAT, is required to produce a negative COVID-19 test received 72 hours prior to entry, complete a 14 day quarantine in Pennsylvania, or produce a negative COVID-19 test in Pennsylvania received during their quarantine period. Proof of adherence to the Travel Order, including any required negative COVID-19 tests, will be required prior to entering the testing center.
- Any student currently in quarantine, isolation, or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, should stay home and contact the College Board to reschedule their testing.
- Per the College Board, a SAT Test Center COVID-19 Safety Screening will be conducted when students arrive on test day, and before letting them into a test center. Testing staff will administer the following short survey before admitting them into the test center to determine if a student should be sent home due to sickness. Testing staff will administer this survey verbally to all students, and deny entry to any student who doesn't confirm all the statements below or refuses to answer them.
- In the past 14 days, I have not come into close contact (within 6 feet) with someone who has tested positive for covid-19 test or is presumed to have covid-19.
- I do not have covid-19 or have reason to believe I have covid-19. Symptoms of covid-19 include cough, fever, chills, muscle pain, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell.
- To my knowledge, I am not violating any travel restrictions or quarantining requirements.
- I agree to wear a mask the entire time I'm at this test center and follow instructions from test center staff; otherwise, I will be dismissed.
- I recognize that the test staff have taken measures to help create a safe testing environment; however, it isn't possible to entirely remove the risk of COVID-19 exposure. By entering the testing room, I accept that risk.
