Payments for Summer School Courses

Summer School payments will be collected online utilizing the K12PaymentCenter.  This is the same payment system utilized for the District's school lunch program.  After review and approval of your child’s summer school application, payment information will be sent to the parent email address submitted on the summer school application.

K12PaymentCenter.com provides parents with the following two options for summer school payments:

  • E-Check payment- electronic checks include a convenience fee of $0.95
  • Credit Card payment- credit card payments include a convenience fee of 3.99%
Please note, the West Shore School District does not receive any of these convenience fees.
Current West Shore S.D. families who choose to use K12PaymentCenter to pay for summer school who already have an account for their child's school meals, will see the Summer Schools fees listed under the "School Fees" tab on the left.  Simply add the fees to the cart to process.

Current West Shore S.D. families who have not used K12Payment Center in the past will need a valid email address and the student’s identification number to receive the resident summer school rate.  You can find your West Shore student's ten digit identification number by logging into PowerSchool online (the number is not available in the mobile app). Each student's number appears immediately after the student's middle name across the top of the screen.  After creating your K12Payment center account and logging in, you will see the summer school fee assigned to your child under the "School Fees" tab on the left.  Simply add the fees to the cart to process.

Non-residents approved for summer school may also make payment online using the K12PaymentCenter. Parents will receive an email once their child is approved for the selected summer school course.  Non-residents will make payment by visiting the K12PaymentCenter website and signing in by selecting "Continue as a Guest" located on the lower portion of the Sign-In box.

Resident and non-resident families who prefer to pay Summer School fees by check should submit their check, made payable to West Shore School District, to:

West Shore School District
“Attention Summer School”
507 Fishing Creek Road
P.O. Box 803

If you have any questions regarding the assigned fees or payment process, please email Kim McDermitt at [email protected]
