District Facility Use During Pandemic

With the most recent stay-at-home orders issued by the Governor and the likelihood that our entire community will be included in those orders soon, the District wants to reinforce the importance of adhering to the restrictions and recommendations given by government agencies about gatherings of groups of people and maintaining social distancing.

We recognize the importance of outdoor activity in coping with this pandemic and are striving to keep resources like our field spaces and running tracks open to members of the public who can responsibly use our facilities. Our ability to do so is highly dependent on the public’s compliance to the recommendations given by the CDC and Pennsylvania Department of Health, as well as, stay-at-home orders given by the Governor.

Unfortunately, we have had instances where members of the public have not followed these guidelines and groups have gathered on our campuses. So that we can continue to keep these spaces open, we need everyone to do their part and follow public health guidelines. Together we can minimize the impact of the coronavirus pandemic in our school community.
