Kindergarten registration has begun in the West Shore School District for the 2020-2021 school year!
West Shore uses PowerSchool Registration, a secure online registration system, for all new student registrations…including kindergarten.
Step by step directions on how to use PowerSchool Registration to enroll your student can be found by clicking here
. To complete the kindergarten registration process, your child must be at least five years of age before October 1, 2020, possess an official birth certificate, and proper immunization records. This documentation can be directly uploaded into PowerSchool Registration. PDF scans or clear, easy to read photos will both be accepted.
If you have specific questions regarding registration, need an accommodation to access this information, and/or need assistance in completing the enrollment process, please contact the District Registrar at 717-938-9577 for assistance.
From August 19-21, Kindergarten Orientation will be held at the eight individual schools and include an opportunity for future students and their families to visit kindergarten classrooms and meet kindergarten teachers and other staff members. Kindergarten families will be contacted in late June with specific dates and times about orientation at their child's school.
In addition, a kindergarten orientation video was prepared to assit families and students in their transition to kindergarten.
If you have specific questions regarding kindergarten orientation, please contact Mr. Dave Harrison, Director of Elementary Education, at 717-938-9577, your building principal, or the school secretary for assistance.
We look forward to meeting the class of 2033!
Please Note: Mission Transition will not be held this year.
