Kindergarten Registration for the 2020-2021 School Year is Now Open!
Kindergarten registration has begun in the West Shore School District for the 2020-2021 school year!
West Shore uses PowerSchool Registration, a secure online registration system, for all new student registrations…including kindergarten.
Step by step directions on how to use PowerSchool Registration to enroll your student can be found by clicking here. To complete the kindergarten registration process, your child must be at least five years of age before October 1, 2020, possess an official birth certificate, and proper immunization records. This documentation can be directly uploaded into PowerSchool Registration. PDF scans or clear, easy to read photos will both be accepted.
If you have specific questions regarding registration, need an accommodation to access this information, and/or need assistance in completing the enrollment process, please contact the District Registrar at 717-938-9577 for assistance.
Kindergarten Orientation will be held at the eight individual elementary schools and include an opportunity for future students and their families to meet kindergarten teachers and other school staff members.
Once the online registration process is completed and all necessary documentation is received by the Registration Office (located at the Administration Center), families will be contacted by the building secretaries with additional information about orientation.
Please note, registration MUST be completed by Monday, March 16, 2020 in order to attend kindergarten orientation the week of March 30, 2020. School staff will not be able to accept registration materials at the school.
If you have specific questions regarding kindergarten orientation, please contact Mr. Dave Harrison, Director of Elementary Education, at 717-938-9577, your building principal, or the school secretary for assistance. We look forward to meeting the class of 2033!
