POSTPONED: Cedar Cliff's Production of Into the Woods

Message from Mr. Topping & The Cedar Cliff Productions Team

March 19, 2020

Good afternoon one and all,

This evening at 7PM would have been the opening of our 2020 Cedar Cliff High School Musical, Into The Woods. Our show began over a year ago and as we navigate our way through these uncertain times, it poignant to note how the themes that we are working so hard to portray for our audience, parallel our current situation as a country. On the characters’ troubled journey through the woods or in the wake of this crisis, it is imperative that we all remember that No One Is Alone.

As our production began and as it continues, it is a huge team effort and the community support has been without a doubt a constant for us during the production.  Below are some details for pre-purchased tickets and how you can support us at the theatre.

Tickets:
If you already purchased tickets for Into The Woods, you have a few options for how to proceed. It is our ultimate goal to do what is right for our community and to operate with the same level of integrity you expect from any Cedar Cliff Production.  We encourage you to use Option 1 for now as more details become available, however, we understand that everyone’s situation is very different during this unprecedented time.  Our ultimate goal is to support our students, staff, and community - which includes all of you!
  1. Keep your seats/dates for now and when we have new dates we will directly transfer them over based upon the day of the week.  If you end up with a conflict, we can transfer them to a new date at no additional charge to you.  No action is needed on your part, we will be in touch after we have our new dates.
  2. Donate the value of your tickets to the program as you know you won’t be able to make it to the production later in the Spring. We can then release your tickets for future patrons and would be grateful for your generosity.  Please reach out to DaleAnn Perry - [email protected] to begin this process.
  3. Refund - Credit card refunds can be processed through our ticketing partner - ShowTix4U.com.  You can use their call center - Toll-Free: 866-967-8167 or email [email protected].  If you purchased in cash, we are still working on the details of how to facilitate these refunds as our school and box office are currently closed.  Please reach out to DaleAnn Perry - [email protected] and we will do our best to accommodate your request as soon as possible.

*No more tickets will be sold until we have secured a future date.

How can you help:

At this point, the most important thing you can do is stay engaged with the program and support our students. We do not fully know the financial implications of our postponement - so we are not directly asking for donations.  However, we are always looking for new community sponsors and partners.  Please reach out to Mr. Topping at [email protected] for more details. This decision has been tough on all of the people working on our show, so follow us on social media and encourage our students and staff.  We will, in return keep working to refine and make the show better.

In closing, thank you for your continued support of the work we continue to do with the next generation of artists. The outpouring of love and support over the last week has often left us speechless.  Be sure to keep in touch via our website or social media - we will keep posting updates about the future of the production and tidbits from the show that we continue to refine.

Onward together,

Mr. Topping & The Cedar Cliff Productions Team
