Annual Pennsylvania School Climate Surveys for Staff, Students, and Families

As we strive to ensure all our schools provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for our students, we want to learn more about the experiences of our school community. This year, we once again invite our staff, student, and families to participate in the annual Pennsylvania School Climate Surveys provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Staff Survey
Deadline November 21, 2022

The staff survey, which will take approximately 15 minutes to complete, includes questions about school safety, student behaviors, and your perceptions of your school environment.

Parent/Guardian Survey
Deadline November 30, 2022

The parent survey, which will take 15-30 minutes to complete, includes questions about student support, your student’s social and emotional learning, and school safety, as well as your perceptions of the school environment. By participating in this survey, you will provide valuable insights that we can use to improve the climate and culture in our schools.

Student Survey (Grades 3-12)
November 14 through November 18, 2022

The Student Survey will be given to students in Grades 3 through 12.  This is an online survey that covers a wide range of topics similar to the parent survey.

The student survey asks about their perceptions of safety, how much they feel listened to and cared about, and the environment of the school. All of the questions have been reviewed by District staff and are appropriate for school-aged students.

Student participation in the survey is voluntary; however, we do ask that you notify us if you do not want your child to participate. Kindly do so by Wednesday, November 9, at 4 p.m. using this google form: https://forms.gle/amUag56mh8S1BmT46

Survey Links
Links to the parent/guardian and staff surveys were sent via email. Students will receive a link to the survey with further directions during the school day. Thank you in advance for your time and input. We appreciate your continued support of our efforts to ensure our schools are places where staff want to work, students want to be, and families want to live.
