The West Shore School District, in cooperation with Red Cedar Family Practice, is pleased to offer PIAA all-sports physicals for all current sixth through eleventh grade students who are planning to participate on an athletic team offered by the West Shore School District during the upcoming 2019-2020 school year.
UPDATED TIMES:
Physical exams will take place after school on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at both Cedar Cliff and Red Land High Schools. Physicals will begin for high school students at 11:30 a.m. and for middle school students at 3:30 p.m. A sports bus will be provided for middle school students to travel from Allen, Crossroads, and New Cumberland to their respective high school to receive a physical. Parents must provide transportation home for their student from the high school. Physicals are expected to last approximately 30 minutes.
Students who plan to play ANY sport for Cedar Cliff or Red Land High School during the 2019-2020 school year are encouraged to attend. A physical exam is required prior to participation in any District sport. This physical will be valid for any sport and all three sport seasons played during the 2019-2020 school year.
WHAT TO BRING
- Payment - Athletes receiving a physical exam should bring $25.00 (cash, check, or money order made payable to Red Cedar Family Practice).
- Completed Sports Physical Packet - Sections 1-5 of the PIAA CIPPE form must be completed and signed by a parent prior to the physical. These forms can be downloaded on the Athletics Department page under the "Fall 2019-2020 Physicals Packets" section (click here).
