From June 13–August 12, all District schools and the Administration Center for Education will be open Monday through Thursday and closed on Fridays. In addition, District offices and meal location sites will be closed July 4 in honor of Independence Day. Due to summer trainings and staff vacation time, hours at the individual schools will vary each day. Please contact the building prior to your visit to confirm someone will be available to assist you.

Like you, we are heartbroken over the events which took place at Robb Elementary School and grieve with the families of the victims and the Uvalde community. In addition to grief, tragic events can also be accompanied by sadness, depression, and other feelings that may elicit fear or anxiety. To ensure our children continue receiving meals throughout the summer months, the West Shore School District is once again offering a free summer meals program! From June 13 through August 11, all kids up to age 18 can receive free breakfast and lunch on Mondays through Thursdays regardless of their family’s economic status or school district of residence.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. The goal of this month is to break the stigma around mental health and encourage people to seek help. In support of Mental Health Awareness Month and our ongoing commitment to the well-being of our students, staff, and families, we have partnered with Care Solace to provide an additional layer of care for our community.
