Beginning Monday, April 19, 2021, all West Shore School District middle and high school students, currently attending in-person two days, will return for in-person instruction Monday through Thursday, four days. Friday will remain a virtual day, and students will continue to follow their current Friday schedule. On March 18, 2021, Dr. Stoltz shared information with current and future West Shore families regarding the District's plans for the 2021-2022 school year. The District has worked diligently over the last several months to develop a Health and Safety Plan for the safe reopening of schools. In addition to the Pandemic Team identified in the Plan, the District sought the feedback of numerous key stakeholder groups, including local physicians; legal counsel; District nurses; teachers; food services, maintenance and custodial staff; building and department administrators; and survey and email feedback from students, staff, and parents.
