Hello, my name is Mrs. Hugar, and I am a fourth grade teacher at Rossmoyne Elementary. The 2018-2019 school year marks my 15th year in education and with the West Shore School District. I've taught all these years in fourth grade, and I couldn't be happier! My husband, Mr. Hugar, is also a teacher. He teaches third grade in the Cornwall-Lebanon School District in Lebanon, PA. Mr. Hugar and I live in Lewisberry with our six year-old daughter, Rebekah, four Leghorn chickens; Patches, the rabbit; and Penny, my daughter's black, outdoor cat. I am a life-long learner and reader; I read every spare moment I can! My favorite reading material is inspirational fiction, usually about Amish families and stories based on the Holocaust. My favorite books around the age of 10 were the Little House on the Prairie books by Laura Ingalls Wilder. Shopping for books is my favorite thing to do; whether they are for children or adults. If I could have any wish, it would be to have my own library!
I also love decorating our home, especially at Christmas. The time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is my most favorite. I enjoy being in my home, spending time with my family, and listening to Christmas music.
