All students should set up an account at www.parchment.com to request their transcripts. Students will request that transcripts are sent to the colleges where they have applied. You should not have transcripts sent to your home to be forwarded to the colleges of your choice. Parchment can also be used to help with your college search. Transcripts do not include SAT or ACT scores. You must request that your test scores be sent directly from College Board or ACT. Students who receive free or reduced lunch can request a transcript fee waiver by emailing Mrs. Crager after setting up their account.
You can register to take the SAT’s and see the upcoming test dates for the 2018-2019 school year at www.collegeboard.org. If you are interested in taking the ACT’s, you can see the scheduled test dates at www.act.org. Students who receive free or reduced lunch can request a test fee waiver from Mrs. Crager. Students are encouraged to take either the SAT or ACT two times before submitting college applications.
When you apply to any post-secondary institution that requires more than a transcript from Cedar Cliff, you must fill out a College Application Cover Sheet which is available from Mrs. Hoover or Mrs. Crager. This is how you communicate to Mrs. Crager that you have applied and let her know what additional materials you need to have sent to the college.
