Behavior Plan

Classroom Management Plan

Classroom Rules

1.    Be kind.

2.   Work hard.

3.   Raise your hand.

4.   YOU are responsible for YOU!!

Going for the gold!!!

Students will move their clips daily in our room based off of their classroom behavior. I believe that positive reinforcement is a key to discipline, therefor students will also move their clips when they demonstrate positive behavior in class.

Positive Behavior:

1-   Random acts of kindness.

2- Participating in class.

3- Exceptional work.

4- Being good role models.

If a student chooses to break a rule, in most cases a verbal warning will be given. If the student continues to break rules the student will move their clip down the chart.

Going for the gold chart.

       Gold       = Olympian (Excellent)

        Silver     = Pro

       Bronze    = Armature

Green     = Ready to learn. (This is where students will start out every day)

Yellow    = Verbal warning

Orange   = Lose 5 minutes of recess

Red       = Lose 15 minutes of recess and parent contact (Student written letter home explaining their behavior, student calls home, or Mr. Miller calls home)

Students will receive the following for abiding by the rules and doing their jobs:

- Positive notes home (These will be sent home when a student has 20 days of excellent behavior)

- Praise and recognition

- Sticker chart
