Dear Parents/Guardians and JROTC Students,

Welcome to Red Land High School and the JROTC Department.  This page is designed to assist students as they take our courses. It will be updated often with assignments, news, and upcoming events. If you want to know a little bit more about our program click on the text "What is JROTC?" to find out.   

A little about me -                                        

I am entering my fourth year as Red Land High School’s Senior Army Instructor. First and foremost, I LOVE IT!  Don't ge me wrong, I loved my active duty time, but I truly enjoy teaching.  My last active duty job for the U.S. Army was as the Professor Of Military Science at Shippensburg University.  I have a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from Kutztown University and a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Mississippi State University.                                                                           

The following list are the values that I believe in and because they are so much apart of me I am certain that I will introduce them to the Cadets of the Patriot battalion on a daily basis.

• If you want people to stand with you, stand by them. (Loyalty) L
• If something needs to be fixed, fix it. (Duty)  D
• If you want to be treated well, treat others well. (Respect) R
• If you need to stay longer to finish something, stay with it. Self-sacrifice before self-indulgence.  (Selfless service) S
• Society holds us (those in uniform) to a higher standard of conduct, and we will meet it.  (Honor) H
• If you must choose between the easy wrong and the hard right, always choose the right. (Integrity)  I
• If you see something is wrong, say something about it.  Don’t be ambiguous or indecisive. (Personal courage)  P
