Welcome to Second Grade!

With the third marking period beginning on January 17, we've reached the half-way point of the school year! Information for Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences should be coming home soon. We continue to work on learning how to tell time, and writing in cursive. We are also looking forward to starting swimming at the end of February. Details on our swimming will be sent home.

Important dates for January - February

• February 10 - Valentine's Day Party
• February 17 - First snow day make-up day
• February 20 - No school, President's Day
• February 28 through March 13 - Second Grade Swimming

Classroom needs: We could use a few more boxes of tissues, and if you have any scrap paper (maybe your place of business has paper that's been printed on one side but the other side is blank and could be used for drawing or coloring), we could use that paper for indoor recess coloring. Thank you!
