The West Shore School District will be conducting kindergarten registration from March 19 through March 22, 2018. Students will be registered for kindergarten by appointment only.
To secure a registration appointment, please contact the school office which your child will be attending based on your current address by phone or by returning the Appointment Request Form available below. If you are not certain which school your child will attend, please contact the District at 717-938-9577.
A registration packet must be completed and brought with you to your appointment. It can be sent to you by the school office or downloaded from the Registration page
under the Enrollment Forms section.

To be admitted to kindergarten, children must be at least five (5) years of age before October 1, 2018, possess an official birth certificate and proper immunization records. Students registering for first grade must be six (6) years of age prior to October 1, 2018.
For residency: (2 required) Acceptable documentation is a current Pennsylvania State issued driver’s license or a Pennsylvania State ID card issued by PennDOT with your current address AND a copy of the deed, lease, settlement agreement or property tax bill. A military housing letter is also acceptable for those on active duty with the armed forces. If your name does not appear on the lease, settlement statement, or deed because you are residing with someone else, that individual must accompany you to your scheduled appointment and complete a Multiple Occupancy Affidavit (which will be available at registration). They must also provide a copy of their lease, settlement statement, or deed and valid PA ID. Do NOT bring a utility bill or letter mailed to an individual as this is not considered proof of residence. A property owner must have his or her name on the District’s tax rolls.
