We received 522 responses to the calendar survey this year and on February 15, the Board of School Directors adopted a calendar for the 2024-2025 school year with Tuesday, September 3, as the first day of school for students.

Share Your Feedback on a Proposed Calendar for Next School Year

We are seeking student, staff, and community feedback regarding a proposed calendar for the 2024-2025 school year. The deadline for submitting comments is Monday, February 5, 2024, at 4 p.m. After reviewing suggestions received, the Board of School Directors will likely take action on approval of a calendar at its meeting on February 15, 2024.

Kindergarten Registration Now Open for 2024-2025

Kindergarten registration has begun in the West Shore School District for the 2024-2025 school year and we can't wait to meet the class of 2037!  To complete the kindergarten registration process, your child must be at least five years of age before October 1, 2024, possess an official birth certificate, and proper immunization records. West Shore uses PowerSchool Registration, an easy to use, secure online registration system which makes uploading this documentation from home easy and convenient.

2024 Academic Bowl Competition Updates

The Academic Bowl, sponsored by the West Shore Foundation, is designed for students throughout the District in grades four through eight to showcase their general knowledge across a vast spectrum of topics.
