Welcome to my web page. My name is Angela Kamps. This is my 31st year teaching gifted students at Cedar Cliff High School. I have a Master's Degree in Gifted Education from Millersville University, a B.A. in English Education from Elizabethtown College, and a B.A. in Communications from Elizabethtown College.  I enjoy traveling, reading, playing the piano, and spending time with family. My husband is from the Netherlands, so we travel to Europe every summer with our 13- year-old daughter to tour and visit with family. I believe in lifelong learning and model that principle. During the summer of 2019, I completed a BLC Dutch Summer School: Dutch Language A1 level course in the Netherlands with a group of international students. It was a fantastic experience! Currently, I am pursuing a Master's Certificate in College and Career Counseling through the University of California, Berkeley.

Torch of Global Enlightenment Award

2018 Torch of Global Enlightenment Award
I was very honored to receive the 2018 Torch of Global Englightenment Award from Dr. Joyce Davis, President of the World Affairs Council of Harrisburg, for my work with students in promoting global awareness and involvement.  I have advised our award-winning Academic Worldquest teams and have promoted global awareness by encouraging student involvement in internships, action projects, and creative outlets offered through the World Affairs Council of Harrisburg and the State Department.
