Summer Office Hours
For an eight-week period from June 11 – August 3, all District schools and the Administration Center for Education will be open Monday through Thursday and closed on Fridays. In addition, District offices will be closed July 4 in honor of Independence Day. 

The Administration Center for Education will be open to the public from 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Hours at the individual schools will vary. Due to limited office staff during this time, please contact the school to confirm someone will be available to assist you when planning your visit.  Click here for a phone directory.

Welcome to Mrs. Davidheiser's First Grade Class!  Here are some very important things you will need to know about this school year!
Breakfast and lunch are served at school.  Please either send in money or keep your child's account up to date!  
Snack- Please send in a healthy snack to be eaten here at school.  
Specials-       Day 1: No Special      Day 4: PE (Wear sneakers!)
                       Day 2: Library            Day 5: PE (Wear sneakers!)
                       Day 3: Art                   Day 6: Music
Recess- Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather!
Birthday treats- No allergies in our class- if you wish to send in a snack, please send in for 24 kids.  No big cakes please!
Show and Tell- Every Wednesday!
Homework- WEB (every night, M-F)
                      Math (twice a week, usually Tuesday and Thursday)

Here's what we will be working on during the month of January!

Reading:  Students will be working on learning the different story elements and how to find them when they are reading. 

Math:  Students will focus on becoming fluent in their math facts.  They will also be exploring a 120 chart and looking at the different patterns.

Writing:  We are working on writing personal narratives.  Students are learning how to include a problem and a resolution to their journal entries.

Science:  We will soon be starting out unit on Solids, Liquids, and Gases.  We will learn how to use the scientific method to conduct real experiments!
