Compliment Circle

Compliment Circle

Compliment Circle

Classroom community is very important to me. I want all the students to feel safe, loved and challenged with all of supporting one another. A compliment circle at the end of the day is a great way for the children to watch for others doing great things all day long and at the end of the day, compliment a friend for their success. The students sit in a circle with their legs stretched out. They call on a friend, give the compliment and then pull their legs back in and sit criss-cross applesauce. Then the friend who received the compliment chooses and friend to compliment. This is completed until everyone has had a compliment.
